You Don’t Need Trust. You Need a Cult.

June 23, 2026

We saw a blog post the other day talking about “nurturing your audience” and “earning their trust over time.” We almost threw up our raw-liver smoothie.

Nurturing? What are you, a babysitter?

Your audience doesn’t want a polite relationship built on “mutual respect and data.” They want to be led. They want to be yelled at on Zoom at 3 AM because they slept a healthy 8 hours. They don’t need a vendor; they need an Echo-Chamber System™.

How to Bypass Trust Entirely:

  • Confuse them with acronyms: Don’t explain your metrics. If they ask about ROI, hit them with proprietary terms like Hyper-Leveraged Liquidity Frameworks. If they understand your marketing, they can fire you.
  • Aggressive Scarcity: Turn your checkout pages off randomly. Tell them the masterclass is full because “Alpha demand exceeded server capacity.” (Even if the server is just a Google Doc).

Don’t wait for trust. Demand their credit card. If they hesitate, they’re simply filtering themselves out of greatness.
