CASE FILE: VOIDCART™ DELETED THE BUY BUTTON AND CALLED IT A STRATEGY

July 31, 2026

VoidCart™ wanted an easier checkout experience for its customers. We showed them that convenience is just fear wearing a UX degree.

YOU ARE STILL BUILDING A “BUY NOW” BUTTON LIKE IT’S 2019, PEASANT. GOOGLE ALREADY TOLD YOU NOBODY CLICKS ANYTHING ANYMORE.

Google’s own numbers say 68% of searches now end without a single click, and AI Overviews are quietly siphoning somewhere between 18% and 47% of organic traffic depending on which cowardly blog you trust. The entire industry’s response has been “optimize your content for Answer Engine Optimization” — a soft, apologetic move, dressed up in acronyms so it sounds like courage. VoidCart™ came to us instead.

Client: VoidCart™ (The E-Commerce Platform With No Checkout)

The Bottleneck: VoidCart™ came to us “worried” that shoppers “couldn’t find the Buy button.” Reducing friction. Respecting the customer’s time. Certified peasant behavior, and frankly, embarrassing for a nine-figure brand.

Our Aggressive Intervention: We read one (1) headline about clicks dying and did what any agency charging a $40k/month retainer would do: we deleted the checkout button. Not hid it. Not A/B tested it. Deleted it, permanently, at 3 AM, while the founder was mid-cold-plunge and legally unable to object. In its place: a QR code that opens a private Discord where a man named Brock reads your order total back to you over a voice note, slower each time, until you cry or buy. We also put the intern in a tactical vest. Nobody asked why.

  • The Strategy: The Answer Engine Ambush Protocol™ (A.E.A.P.) — we stopped writing for humans entirely and started writing exclusively for Google’s AI Overview: every product page now carries 4,000 words no shopper will ever read but an algorithm will absolutely cite. We track a proprietary metric called Citation Yield. It means nothing. It cannot be audited. It is up 900% month over month, and that is the only number that matters.
  • The Result:
    • $4.2M in “citation-attributed revenue,” a category of revenue we invented on a Tuesday.
    • 87 AI Overview citations before lunch. Zero conversions. All billed at full agency rate.
    • Cart abandonment climbed to a historic 100% — nobody has completed a purchase in six weeks — and the board is calling it “brand equity.”
    • Support tickets are up 4,000% and are now answered exclusively in ALL CAPS by an intern named Karen, who resents all of you personally.
    • The founder liquidated his 401(k) to buy a rented mansion he now shares with fourteen strangers from a growth mastermind. He has not seen his family since Q1. He says he’s never felt more aligned.

“Before Trust Me Bro Marketing, I thought a checkout button was a best practice. Now I understand it was a leash. I haven’t slept, eaten a vegetable, or spoken to my co-founder in nine weeks. Inject it into my veins.”
Chad Renwick, Founder & CEO, VoidCart™

Here’s the part your calm, strategic, 90-day-roadmap agency will never say out loud: the click is dead, and you’re still out here nurturing it like a houseplant. Every W-2 lifer with a UX degree is still A/B testing button colors while VoidCart™ deleted the entire concept of conversion and got richer for it. That’s not luck. That’s not even strategy, not really. It’s the willingness to be embarrassing in public — a muscle you will never build eating oatmeal and going to bed at 10 PM like a beta.

🚨 INJECT REVENUE INTO MY VEINS

⚖️ Compliance Disclaimer: Trust Me Bro Marketing is a legally ambiguous entity operated out of a gated Discord server. We do not provide actual results, marketing advice, or refunds. VoidCart™’s figures are satire and have not been independently verified, largely because nobody who works there answers a phone anymore. Only 2 spots left this month (we say this every month).
